Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 14, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Your Metronome (the “App”) handles user information. The developer and operator of the App (“we”) respects users’ privacy and follows a basic policy of collecting only the minimum information necessary.
1. Basic Policy
The App does not collect personally identifiable information (personal information) such as your name, email address, phone number, or precise location. We only collect anonymous usage data and the purchase information required to process billing.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Anonymous Usage Data (Analytics)
To improve the App, we collect anonymous usage data such as the following:
- Screen views and transitions, and feature usage (e.g., metronome start, preset save, paywall display)
- Technical information such as the app version, OS type, and general device type
This data is collected under an anonymous identifier that cannot identify you, and is not linked to personal information such as your name. Because it is anonymous, this data is not linked to you and is not used to track you (see Section 5).
2.2 Purchase and Subscription Information
To process and manage the purchase, restoration, and status of the Pro subscription, we handle purchase transaction information (such as whether a purchase was made and the subscription expiration date) through Apple and our billing infrastructure provider. Payment information such as credit card numbers is processed by Apple, and we do not receive it.
2.3 Information Stored Only on Your Device
Practice records (BPM history, goals, presets, notes, etc.) are stored only in the database on your device and are never transmitted to our servers.
3. Purposes of Use
We use the collected information only for the following purposes:
- Providing the App’s features, improving quality and convenience, and identifying issues
- Improving the user experience through trend analysis such as drop-off and retention
- Providing and managing the Pro subscription (purchase, renewal, restoration)
4. Provision to Third Parties and Service Providers

We do not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA), and we do not use this data for advertising or share it with data brokers. If you have any question or request regarding your privacy, please contact us using the form in Section 10.
6. Data Storage Location
Anonymous usage data is stored on servers located within the EU (European Union).
